Air Show

Every year the Thunderbirds have an air show for the Air Force Academy graduation. Where Derek works, we're able to have good seats to watch the show. So we eat lunch together and enjoy watching the show. We were able to sit and watch the show with friends that Derek works with and their families. It was exciting! Cassidy didn't even get scared with the loud noise when the Thunderbirds flew over us. She just points her finger at them and giggles.

Day at the Park

We thought it would be fun to ride our bikes up the road to a local park to play. Cassidy enjoys sitting in her little buggy while Oakley runs along the side of us. Cassidy enjoys swinging, and going through the tunnels at the playground. On our bike ride back home, we passed more dogs walking by and Cassidy couldn't resist to bark back. As Aunt Jillian says, "she's no Great Dane, but a little Chihuahua." It's so cute to hear her make her little doggie sounds.

One Sunday afternoon

After church we had some lunch and then put Cassidy down for a nap. Obviously, Cassi didn't finish her lunch. She had a fun, long, day in nursery.

Territory days

Today we went to Territory Days in old Colorado City. It's a big annual event with vendors, live music, old west performances, food tents, crafts for sale, and more. Cassidy's favorite part was her balloon. Cassidy and Daddy were able to get a picture with some of the western cowboys. It was fun to walk around and enjoy some entertainment.

Memorial Day Weekend

Well today we were able to enjoy the start of a wonderful Memorial Day weekend together as a family. We were able to play outside with the basketball, pick out flowers, have a lunch picnic in our own backyard. We had a great time doing all these things. We even had the chance to spend some fun times with Oakley's friend, Mulder.


Cassidy enjoyed looking and picking at flowers at our local Home Depot garden shop today. Daddy tried to teach her which ones were prickly and which ones were soft to touch. She even tried to smell some of the flowers it was cute. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Our Little Family

Well, Angie and I have decided that we want some type of we page that allows us to insert current pictures as well as a short description of our current thoughts or feelings. This will help us to journal some of our family events. This should also give us a fun way of looking back as Cassidy and any future children grow up.

We'll see how well we maintain it. =) Here's a relatively current picture of our family - when Grammy came out to visit we had a small picnic at the park.
